In addition, STEM helps us make critical decisions about health care, finances, etc and illuminates complex issues that governs our present and future, while revealing the beauty and power of our world.
Do STEM Network students meet academic criteria of all subjects? YES! The foundation of STEM education is in content found in current standards. Therefore, STEM Network students attain the same level of competence in all standard subjects. Furthermore, STEM students develop additional soft skills in creativity, innovation, collaboration and problem solving.

Specifically, using an interdisciplinary and student - centered approach allows all types of learners to better access content using multiple modalities.
